I have run a successful Information Technology company for the past 30 years.  Early in our corporate life span, my partners and I decided that we would include an annual corporate trip in our benefits package.  While planning various international trips for our company, I learned that it was hard work but absolutely enthralling.  After planning approximately 20 corporate trips, I decided that I want to be a travel agent and do this through my retirement years.

In August of 2023, I joined FORA as a FORA Travel Agent because they focused on creating a technology platform to support their travel agents.  As a technologist, this appealed to me.  After getting certified with FORA, the next step for a serial entrepreneur is to start a company.  This is how Travel Dogg was born.

My wife works in the travel industry and shares my passion for travel.  With expertise in social media, she quickly came onboard to assist.  With children who have had passports since before they were 2 years old, they often would ask as toddlers, when are we going to the hotel or on the airplane again.  So you see it is in our blood.

The official launch of Travel Dogg was on Juneteenth, 2024.  On June 19, 1865, General Gordon Granger declared that slavery had been abolished.  We wish to recognize and celebrate this freedom by helping everyone to experience the freedom of travel and the education, empathy, and enlightenment that such movement brings.
